Summer days are quickly coming to an end. And as the children head back to school and learning time begins, it is also time to continue our education as REALTORS®. Ocean County Women’s Council has planned a fall full of fun and educational meetings. Be sure to check out our fall schedule included in this newsletter.

On Sept 17th at the library in Lacey Twp we will join with the Ocean County Board of Realtors to bring you a program on Realtor Safety. You will learn how to safeguard your body and your identity.

On Oct 15th we welcome back Jim Flanagan for another “tech education”. This time he will talk about e-marketing and how your web presence can earn you more money. You don’t want to miss this meeting.

Also on the 15th we will be holding elections for the 2010 Leadership Team of the OCWCR. Nominations are still open for all positions except President. Our current President-Elect, Nancy Gray will be filling that position. We would like to have all members vote on that day. Please try to be at this meeting.

We are also kicking off a fun raiser to finance our educational scholarships from “Helens Fund”. It is a raffle of a “Tech Basket” valued at $1,000+. Tickets are being sold for $10.00.

The drawing will take place just in time for the holidays, December 12th. See any OCWCR board member for tickets.

We are also planning a wine-tasting trip to Valenzano’s Winery in Samong in September. Look for more details to follow.
